Our Mission
Prudentix has been working in recent years, on developing innovative proprietary products, that are based on novel human recombinant amelogenin (rAmelX), as an active ingredient for the treatment of orthopedic injured cartilage, ligaments and tendons as well as to treat periodontitis and various types of oral defects and periodontal diseases. New patented applications and dosage forms are being researched to broaden the umbrella of indications and solutions. Prudentix has also developed the next generation of active ingredients to treat biofilm induced diseases, such as periimplantitis, peri-implant mucositis, and others.
The Beginning
Prudnetix was incepted as a company with the goal of developing products for professional dental use. Prudentix Ltd. started developing products for periodontal pockets and has launched Pocket-X gel as the first professional dental product.
The product gained success in Israel (the first market where the product was launched) and soon after the word spread to other countries as well, as Prudentix signed distribution agreements with global international distributors such as with the esteemed company Geistlich Pharma AG from Switzerland and with local international distributors world-wide.
The next product in the portfolio came to fruition by studying the literature and in lab testing the positive effects of human recombinant amelogenin on oral tissues such as bone, cementum and soft tissues. Following this dental development, Prudentix initiated a collaboration with a world-renowned team of researchers from the Hadassah Medical Center at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem to jointly develop a patented use of rAmelX for regenerative effects on injured joints as well as other orthopedic ailments. Other indications are being researched in the dermatological field as well.
Our headquarters encompasses a hub for several pharmaceutical companies that share know-how and equipment. Our facility includes and makes use of offices, an adjacent modern ISO 13485 approved manufacturing plant for medical devices and an R&D state of the art in house advanced laboratory.
