Dr. Franco Cavalla earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2004 and completed his clinical specialization in periodontics in 2009. By 2018, he had also obtained a Master’s degree and a PhD in osteoimmunology and biomaterials. His research experience spans Chile, Brazil, and the United States. Since 2024, he has served as a full professor at Universidad Andrés Bello in Chile and is the head of the Bone Biology and Bone Regeneration Laboratory at the School of Dentistry. Dr. Cavalla's research centers on immunomodulatory mechanisms involved in bone healing and regeneration. He has secured funding from several sources, including Universidad Andrés Bello, the Chilean Fund for Research Development, the Oral Regeneration Foundation, and the State of São Paulo Research Foundation. Additionally, he has authored or co-authored over 56 peer-reviewed scientific articles and two book chapters.

Prof. David Polak is a lecturer at the dept. of periodontology at the Hebrew University Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine .He graduated from the Hebrew University-Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2004 and completed the graduate program in Periodontics in 2010 at the same institution and holds an EFP periodontist credential. Currently, Dr. Polak is a senior instructor and researcher in basic science at the Department of Periodontology, Hadassah medical center. His studies focus mainly on the pathogenesis of periodontal disease and neutrophil biology. Additional studies focus on biofilm models on teeth and implant surfaces as well as on the biology of osteoblast in processes of re-osseointegration in peri-implantitis models. Dr. Polak received several awards for his scientific and clinical achievements. He has published extensively in the dental and periodontal literature and is an invited speaker in national and international conferences.

Dr. Meizi is internationally recognized for her clinical expertise, research, and lectures on periodontal regeneration and soft tissue surgery. She is passionate about preserving teeth, advancing evidence-based dentistry, and educating professionals worldwide.

Before joining Prudentix, Dr. Sacks served as VP of R&D at PhytoTech Therapeutics (cannabinnoids derived Rx oral drugs), Director of Pharmaceutical R&D at Nicast (medical devices made of electrospun polymer nanofabrics), and in lead positions at TransPharma Medical (a combination drug-device transdermal delivery).
